We believe that salon furniture can be equally beautiful, as it is functional. With emphasis on ultimate comfort, all Plush + Oak pieces utilize luxury craftsmanship used only in home furniture, until now -- Including multi layered foaming, full webbed suspension systems, and artisan crafted detailing.
The treatment bed is the heart of any salon or spa. All Plush + Oak designs focus on providing anti-gravity ergonomic curves that eliminate pressure points for clientele, support and flex with every client with full tensile webbed suspension, and offer pillowy cushioning to have them floating during treatment.
Artists need free movement beneath the treatment table to ensure pelvic alignment and posture support. Our designs focus on ensuring artist health for career longevity.
Artists need perfect visibility to client's faces. This means that our designs are focussed on a clear, unobstructed view to the clients lasses, brows, and face. Our designs focus on the head being flat and in no way tilted away from the artist. A wide workstation (31" wide) allows artists to keep supplies close and avoid the service cart "twist".

Courtney Buhler
Courtney Buhler, renowned principal designer and visionary entrepreneur, has translated her exceptional background in lash artistry into an entirely new chapter of design innovation. As an accomplished artist, salon owner, and founder of the global brand Sugarlash PRO, Courtney built her career on creating thriving beauty businesses and elevating industry standards.
With a keen eye for both artistry and functionality, Courtney recognized a significant gap in the market for specialty furniture tailored to lash and brow professionals. For years, massage tables—ill-suited for the unique needs of beauty services—were the default. They offered little in the way of legroom for proper posture, left clients uncomfortable during treatments, and lacked the polished, professional aesthetic that modern studios deserve.
In 2020, Courtney set out to change this by designing and patenting the Edda Ergonomic Salon Bed. Her creation seamlessly combines elegant form with practical innovation, addressing the needs of both artists and clients. The Edda not only supports optimal posture and comfort but also brings a sleek, sophisticated presence to any studio, embodying the perfect balance of style and purpose.
Since the launch of the Edda, Courtney has continued to expand her range of specialty furnishings, each piece reflecting her commitment to design excellence and the comfort of professionals and their clientele. Through her work, she has once again demonstrated the transformative power of thoughtful, functional design—ensuring that beauty spaces worldwide are as inspiring and professional as the artists who work within them.

Jordan Driessen brings a lifetime of woodworking expertise and a deep passion for impeccable craftsmanship to the heart of Plush + Oak’s design philosophy. With a background rooted in carpentry and fine furniture making, Jordan has honed his skills across years of hands-on experience, mastering everything from precision joinery to innovative finishing techniques. His dedication to quality and detail is evident in every piece he touches, turning functional furnishings into works of art.
When Courtney Buhler envisioned a new standard of comfort and style for salon furniture, partnering with Jordan was a natural step.
